Coastella Music Festival is back! 

The vibrant Kāpiti summer music festival is happening on Saturday 17th February 2018. Building on the growing success of the first two events, our 2018 line-up showcases a diverse range of local and international music from energetic folk and indie rock to Japanese banjo, brass, and Balkan madness!

New Zealand soul royalty Louis Baker reveals sensual new video for latest single ‘Addict’ and announces his return to Australia.

Wellington soul singer, songwriter and tearjerker Louis Baker has made quite a recognisable name for himself across the globe with his compelling blend of Motown and RnB. His latest single 'Addict' is a sensual, slow groove number now sporting a highly complimentary visual accompaniment.

'Addict' is the follow up single to its predecessor 'Gave It All Away' - the hit single that pricked ears both at home and afar with Double J and the UK's BBC Radio 6, as well as gaining him a spot on Red Bull Music's 20 before 17 list. Not shying away from the spotlight, 'Addict' certainly backs up this acclaim, but with a shift from the acoustic and upbeat, to the sensual, electronic and restrained. Hey everyone, I'm stoked to be taking over Caroline for one whole night during the jazz festival. 

I was really happy with how the first two Love Love shows went last year and it's great to be able to play again. Same band of mofos as before--- Daniel Hayles - rhodes, ESQ-1, Johnny Lawrence - bass, subphatty, James Paul - guitar, Mike Isaacs - bass clarinet, Riki Gooch - drums/percussion, and myself on drums. We will also be joined by a special guest JY Lee (Akl) who's a saxophone deeeeemon.

Lastly, I'm presenting an exclusive WJF Borrowed cs live band performance. There will be a couple jams from previous releases but mostly unreleased things. I'll be playing drums and synths and joined by some of the gang from Love Love. As for the dancers, well, it may be a tad more abstract than my usual sets, but hopefully will move you in other ways.
